I also considered Trinisphere, Sphere of Resistance, and even Chalice of the Void-and decided that already having three Nether Voids trumps those options. I thought about adding extra discard, but Leyline of Sanctity really makes that a bad option. On the decklist: for a while after putting Chains of Mephistopheles to rest, I wondered what I should put in the board in its place for the combo matchup. So here’s my updated list, which I think, for now, is okay to take to a local game shop but which might be too cute for a bigger tournament: I wondered if I should even do a write up for the thirteen-player, four-round tournament I entered on Sunday, given that, at SCG Providence, Pox was making it to the top 16 and was even being piloted again by its most famous developer, Reid Duke-but in the interests of keeping an accurate record (which is mostly the purpose of this blog, besides the entertainment of those who regularly tune into it), I decided I’d go ahead and describe the underwhelming event I participated in at Epic Loot. So, I’m back with another episode of Legacy Pox.
